Suggest Treatment For Hip And Leg Pain With Sensitivity

I am 2 1/2 weeks out from having a RFA on right side L-5 L-4 L-3 and S-1. I have been having alot of nerve pain from the center of my back to the hip and down my leg. Skin sensitivity, burning pain, crawling and hot shocking pain. The area where the procedure was done is pretty swollen. Doctor has put me on gabapentin, as of 1 week ago. My main concern is the swelling being almost 3 weeks out. It has made things difficult, hard to walk and hard to get around. Is this to be expected?
