Suggest Treatment For Hives When Treating Follicular Lymphoma

My husband was diagnosed with follicular lymphoma approximately 8 years ago. There was no treatment, just the wait and watch. Recently, he has been breaking out in hives and along with that itching. Benadryl has helped to relieve the itching. His hives usually come late afternoon evening. For a few days, he did not break out with any, but this has started up again. Is there any relation of the hives with the progression of they lymphoma?
