Suggest Treatment For Hyper Pigmentation On Upper Lip After Applying Wax Strips

I recently used wax strips over my upper lip and I did it more aggressively. For first one week , I used neosprin and the scabs dried off and came off. But i see it has left dark discoloration on my upper lip . Its not very dark...but they are dark lines. I went to a doctor and they have recommended Momate cream for 5 days on the upper lip ( once during nights) and Epithilail AH on my entire face at nights for restoring the hydration. Its just been two days since i started this treatment, I am very concerned about those marks as I have my wedding in May and i want my skin to be spotless. Overall i have good skin only with very minor spots.
