Suggest Treatment For Hypothyroidism

Hi, I have Hypothroidisium and taking 100mg of levothyroxine. The tests that I just got back shoes my TSH level was at 5.01. My sugar is at 188 my cohlestrol is at 288, I am a 63 yr old woman, with Lupus Sle as well. My Dr said that my Thyroid is high but isn't doing anything about it. Should I seek a second opinion ?
