Suggest Treatment For Infected Wound Around Toenail After Injury

I recently bumped my toe in work and the nail penetrated the skin so I removed the side of the nail at home.. But now the wound left behind is starting to hurt a little when I touch it and has a slight smell to it, a slight amount of puss came out when I squeezed it and it doesn t hurt as much but What should I do to stop it?
