Suggest Treatment For Infected Wound On Lip

i was involved in a bar fight on Tuesday night and i have bitten through my bottom lip it is infected i can tell by the smell. i visited the E.R and had it stitched up but it does not look like it is closed all the way. i am talking antibiotics and cleaning it out with warm salty water. is there anything else i can do from home. i think i may have torn out a stitch or two in my sleep. i am not a troublemaker i was defending a friend from a large group of drunk college guys.please help thank you.
