Suggest Treatment For Inflamed And Paining Lymph Node In Groin Area

Hi, I have an inflamed lymph node in my groin with pain going down the side of my leg to my knee. I feel fine other than this. Yesterday the pain only seemed to be skin deep, now it's deeper. I thought it was bruised when i woke up, but nothing is there. Is this normal?
