Suggest Treatment For Inflamed And Swollen Sebaceous Cyst Between Mouth And Chin

Hello, I have a sebaceous cyst between mouth and chin that is inflamed causing swelling around it. Should I use hot or cold compresses to reduce swelling and once swelling is gone, hot to reduce size of cyst? I have Dr. appt. sched.but not for 2 days.
