Suggest Treatment For Injured Eardrum

Yesterdat my elder son (seven yrs) was cleaning his ears with buds when suddenly my younger son ( two yrs ) unknowingly pushed him, this result in injury in his ear and there was little blood on the bud also he was crying in pain. I took him to the doctor and the doctor advised that there were some injury near his ear drum due to which there was blood. He advised medicine and drops. I would like to know if there will be any problem in future for him, pls. reply
