Suggest Treatment For Intense Body Itching

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...I recently went on a trip (domestic) and while I was away, I started getting itchy. It has been over a week since I have returned home and the itching remains and at times definately has become more intense. I have also noticed what appears to be an increase in what looks like bright red moles. I went to the doctor three days ago and they prescribed methylprednisolone and it has not gotten any better. Any ideas or thoughts on my next step?
