Suggest Treatment For Irregular Menstruation And Vaginal Gas

I am female, 51 years old and just started having irregular periods and recently having vaginal gas. Its not like bowel gas and having a bowel movement usual resolves a lot of gas, this is random and smells but dose not make gas type noise. Is there a health issue associated with this?
