Suggest Treatment For Irregular Menstruation

I am sufferring from severe pcod.I took some hormonal treatment and after stopping it I am not having periods since last six months. However I had spottng for few days every month. I have gained six kgs of weight and feel miserable. Now I am having svere pms symptoms since last ten days but no periods. Doctor has prescribed me deviry for 10 days to induce period. But the withdrawl bleed I get after taking hormones is so heavy that cant even stand or walk. I dnt know what to do since I am working lady and its not possible to sit in home while bleeding
