Suggest Treatment For Irritation Around Groin Area

hello my age is 20 years old and i'm in a good health but it's just two days ago, i saw that i was doing some irratation around my perivate parts.So used 20% zinc oxide ointment (for baby when they have diaper rash) but it got worse. I tryed to use body lotion and still did't work. So i thought to use some Polysporin, this helps a bit but i wan to know what is it? and how can i treat it?
