Suggest Treatment For Itching And Pus On Ganglion Cyst Removed Area

Hi, I had a ganglion cyst removed from my right wrist six weeks ago. For the past three days, the scar tissue has been itchy and filling up with fluid - today it popped and released quite a bit of pus, and its been oozing on and off all day. Should I visit my doctor or is this normal?
