Suggest Treatment For Itching Due To Bacterial Vaginosis

I went to a doctor about what I thought was a yeast infection. Im 19, in a committed relationship and have only ever had one yeast infection. I used vagisil to try and relieve the intense burning and itching but it did not help. The doctor said I had bacterial vaginosis and gave me a prescription for .2% hydrocortisone for the itching and (Flagyl?) for the vaginosis. I used the hydrocortisone but I still itch and cannot get comfortable to sleep. Anything to help this itch is all I need. It kills me how much it itches even with the hydrocortisone.
