Suggest Treatment For Itching Due To Bed Bug Bite

Hi, I had a case of bed bugs 2months ago. The bugs and the bites are gone but the itching continues. Why is that? Should I visit a doctor or a specialist. if so, what kind? Ive used creams, anti bacterial Gel and alergy meds but my itching is only covered temporarily.....Any suggestions?
