Suggest Treatment For Itching In Groin

hello, I used to get lot of itching in my groin area but now the color of skin has lightened and also,scales comes out time to time. Initially, I tried meconazol cream which my wife had to apply over skin but it did not work. Later, I thought is as may be, my skin is dry and so started applying oil, but it is also not working.
