Suggest Treatment For Itching In Pubic Area

Hi I am a 32 year old female who was prescribed emla cream for an itch in the pubic area 12 years ago
through pubic hair pulling.The hair pulling has now stopped but I still need to use emla cream twice a day.Is there anything I could do about this? Does it sound like a trapped nerve?
