Suggest Treatment For Itching In Throat And Cold During Pregnancy

Hi im 12weeks preganant and I have a what they call a cold... It began with a itchy sore throat then a mild stuffy nose, then the nausea began in affect with a cough... I called the doctor and they prescribe me robitussin DM, and cough drops... I m so iffy about this med... I cant sleep or hold any food down... I m really worry for my baby... The cough is with phlegm ... Please advice me on what to proceed... Thanks in advance.
