Suggest Treatment For Knot In The Middle Of The Forehead,headache And Dizziness

My mother just fell and hit her forhead and nose hard on a hard floor leaving a large knot in the middle of her forehead and bloodied her nose. It has been about an hour and the knot is still there and her nose is still bleeding. Other than that she is not complaining of any headaches, dizziness , is not naucious and did not ever loose consciousness. Her nose does not appear to be broken My mother is 84 years old and in excellent health but does take blood pressure medicine and lipitor . Question, should we be alarmed about her nose still bleeding and the knot still being there. How long does it take for the knot on her forehead to go down. We have applied ice to her forehead since she fell. How do we stop her nose from bleeding. Thank you very much for your help.
