Suggest Treatment For Large Bump In The Chin

I am a 21 year old female and never once had acne other then the occasional zit during my period however I woke up this morning with one very large hard painful bump on my chin. All the info I have found has said they dont typically go away but is there a cream I could try before seeing a dermatologist?
