Suggest Treatment For Large Mass In Lower Right Side

my husband is 81 years old and just got home from the hospital after being there for 2 months wit MSSA and then C-diff. He has developed a large mass in his lower right side. Very concerned about what it might be. We will go to the family dr. tomorrow, but live in a town with limited specialists.
