Suggest Treatment For Lighter Skin Around The Eyes

hi, I'm 24, I've had lighter skin around my eyes for quite some time now, iniatially i thought it was because i worn safety glasses when i worked construction and so on, but I've been out that feild for over a year now and i haven't seen any change to the complexion around my eyes. Do you know of any other causes of this?
