Suggest Treatment For Loss Of Sensation In Thumb After Cat Bite

Hi there, Last week I was bite quite forcefully in the wrist by a cat. I went and got antibiotics that night and it is healing fine. However, my thumb is still suffering from a loss of sensation (bite on the inner wrist right above the thumb, and the loss of sensation happened immediately) and the swelling is no longer present, so I am worried that I have nerve damage or the cat may have tore a ligament or tendon? I get a tingling and slightly painful feeling that runs from my wrist down my thumb whenever I grab things.
