Suggest Treatment For Low Blood Sugar Along With Nausea And Weight Gain

I was recently prescribed Effexor ER 75 MG and have noticed symptoms I feel are associated with low blood sugar, which I have suffered with about 50 years, since I was 19 years old (so I know the symptoms). The last several days I also have experienced bouts of nausea which goes away with food. I wonder if this is associated with the medication. I have tried a few others over the past few year but they cause weight gain. I also have struggled trying not to gain weight with this. Are this symptoms common with this drug?
