Suggest Treatment For Lumbar Puncture

About three weeks ago i got a lumbar puncture,there were a few problems and they couldn't get any fluid out the first time so they tried about four times before they finally got it. By then i was in a lot of pain and the doctor told me i would need about five day of bedrest before I was able to move again. It has now been three weeks and i'm still feeling a lot of pain in the lower area of my back. I've also noticed discoloration on the skin in the area that I got the lumbar puncture. Should I be worried at all?
