Suggest Treatment For Lump At The Back Of The Head

My 32 year husband has a lump half dollar size on the back of his head just as the top of his head slopes downward on the left side. He says he did not hit it on anything but is now complaining of headache. Also a pain left side back middle of rib cage? Could they be associated and what do you think it could be??
