Suggest Treatment For Lump Formation After Tonsillectomy

Hi, I am 25 years old, and male. Around two months ago, I had my tonsils removed following a very severe infection, a week after the op I was readmitted due to bleeding, and was kept in for just over a day. Following that the wounds started to heal and I started feeling good again. However, over the last three weeks I've noticed lumps have formed where my tonsils once were, and I've started coughing a lot. I've looked around the internet but cant find anything really helpful. Any advice?
