Suggest Treatment For Lump In The Throat After Swallowing Gum

i feel like i have something stuck in my throat, i do remember swallowing chewing gum, could it be this? when i looked down my throat with a torch and said aaaaaaaa (you know. the thing the dr asks you to do) there is a little bit that pops up. is this normal?
