Suggest Treatment For Medication For Prostatitis

is there anything to provide immediate relief for someone who has been diagnosed with prostatitis? i.e. home remedies, massage or other physical acts. We are willing to try anything because my boyfriend has no health insurance and he has difficulty urinating. Recently it has progressed to him urinating less than a teaspoon worth after 20 minutes of attempting to void. please help !!! Thank you
