Suggest Treatment For Mesenteric Panniculitis Causing Irritation In Abdomen

I m 64 years old and was diagnosed with mesenteric panniculitis. I have had MS for the last four years but now diagnosed with SLE Lupus. I m on steroids for the panniculitis to ease the pain but I don t want to take it forever. It seems when I eat certain foods,it irritates it even more. I am allergic to many new foods recently, fresh fruit is one of them. I am not sure of the direction I should go in as my immune system is totally turning on me. Any suggestions are appreciated.
