Suggest Treatment For Migraine Headache

hello i have a question regarding headaches. I have a history with migraines that form on one side of my head and have lately resulted in nausea. However a few days ago I had one of these migraine headaches and smoked hookah. About an hour later I threw up everything I had eaten that day. Is it possible that what I had eaten was the root problem or can smoking hookah cause this as well?
