Suggest Treatment For Mild Diverticulitis

I was diagnosed (with a CT scan) with mild diverticulits 2 weeks ago. I took flagyl and recovered. I am gradually adding back foods. Now i am having frequent bowel movement most days. I am using Citricel daily which helps. I am wondering why i am having 4-5 small movements and if this ok. Could it be related to using the Citricel or is it the introduction of foods?
