Suggest Treatment For Mood Swings Caused After A Head Injury

My brother had an accident last year and suffered from serious brain injury. He is back to work now thankfully but has mood swings. He will get agitated every morning rushing to work despite the time is still early. How to control his mood as I do not want to put him on medication.
