Suggest Treatment For Mucus Discharge In The Stools Of A Kid

Hi my kid is 4months old and I found mucus in her discharge after consulting my paediatric he recommended to take coligyl 3.5ml for 2 days and z&d 1ml for 15 days.I want to know whether i can give her both the medicine or any one of them and why two anti diarrheal medicine to take.she takes only mother's milk and is there any food control for the mother.please give me a remedy. Thank you
