Suggest Treatment For Multi Nodular Goitre

ihave a multinodular goitre which has enlarged and two consultants have said i need a total thyroidectomy but since i have changed to a different hospital they just keep sending me for more test s . should i push for the operation . i do keep getting a tickle in my throat which results in a coughing fit and trouble breathing and always starts from where the goitre is . can you advise me please. sandra
