Suggest Treatment For Nausea Along With Dry Heaving

hi i have had a stomach virus and have seen my dr. nothing they could do of course but to tell me to follow the BRAT diet of course. I have a hx of GERD and now that most of my stomach virus symptoms have subsided, except nausea, I m still having some dry heaving and it s acidic in nature, it burns. Should I take TUMS?
