Suggest Treatment For Nerve Pain In Hip While Suffering From Genital Herpes

I have genital herpes but only break out on my upper left hip. It went painfully diagnosed for 7 yrs. I have extreme nerve pain from my waist to my feet. I am tired all the time from lack of sleep. I take Gabapentin 100 mg each. They make me feel drunk so I cannot function at work. I was told to take 3 at night. They do not work. I have hep c from a blood transfusion so am very picky about what I take. I was in so much pain from the herpes I went to see a spinal specialist who finally diagnosed me when he seen the break out on my upper hip. Prior to seeing the break out he wanted to cauterize the nerves in my lower back as after a MRI he was baffled from what was causing my pain. Would cauterize be something I might want to concider to stop this constant nerve pain since nothing is working? I even tried Tramadol but had the worse headache right out the gate from even a half dose. Any suggestions would be great...Thank you. I need help. I have lost quality of life
