Suggest Treatment For Nerve Palsy In The Eye

My Mother is 99 yrs old & has 3rd nerve palsy in left eye. The eye is completely shut & she has some Macular Degeneration so her sight at best is compromised. What is the remedy or a wait time to see a Neurologist ? She is on NO medications only Vitamins otherwise quite good health.. We need some guidance on what can be done to open this eyelid.
