Suggest Treatment For Osteoporosis With Lumbar Spondylosis

Hi, my mother has been diagnosed with osteoporosis and lumbar spondylosis. She has sharp spasms of pain in the area around her left hip and not able to move, sit , change sides while sleeping or stand; someone advised us to see a chiropractor- can this person help relieve the pain?
