Suggest Treatment For Otosclerosis

I have otosclerosis in both the ears and the left one is worse than the right one.a doctor advised me to go for stapedectomy.I had got done my FESS already but still most of the time I have fluid collection and throat infection.Can I go for the stape surgery>And will it be successful?Where can I get it done in chennai/Is the postoperative care tough to follow/Please answer all my questions,
