Suggest Treatment For Ovarian Abscess

Dear Doctor,

I just got out of the hospital for an ovarian abscess. I had been having pain for about a month until this pass sunday, I couldn't handle it anymore. i went into the er and they told me that my left ovary was enlarged by ten centimeters than my right one. The doctor told me it was an infection that be caused by many things. Alot of times sex. He didnt tell me i had any Stds with the blood test and urine tests performed. If he didnt mention to me any stds present, I dont have any right? I sound ridiculous but i dont know what to think anymore. I cant sleep, eat, nothing. I am still on antibiotics for ten days and i have to go back for an ultra sound. Im really scared because ten centimeters is pretty big, meaning that most likely it will need surgery. doesnt it?
