Suggest Treatment For Pain And Discoloration On Ankle Post Injury

Hello, I sprained my ankle pretty badly about 6 months ago. I had it x-rayed in the ER and they said nothing was broken. Since then my ankle still aches at times, I still have discoloration on both sides, and this morning I woke up with an awful feeling numbness in my toes and foot. I m not sure what to do. I thought for sure it would be healed by now and that the color would have returned to normal. Any suggestions would really be appreciated.
