Suggest Treatment For Pain And Edema After Surgery On Right Ankle

I had Surgery on my right ankle to have some of the hardware removed about 2weeks ago. Right after Surgery I felt great, very little pain and good movement. Now I m having alot of pain and some adema (sp? )it s a little warm to the touch and a little pink. Also if I cough of sneeze or move a certain way I feel like im being shocked in the right foot. what could be the cause?meg
