Suggest Treatment For Pain Around Shoulder And Neck With Headaches

During an exam for something else and after consulting xrays my doctor informed me I have an extra rib. I'd had some tension and what I believed to be muscle knots prior to this, but it wasn't causing any serious problems so nothing further was discussed. However I now get severe pains around my shoulder and neck, along with almost constant headaches. The headaches and pain get so bad I feel physically ill. Can anything other then surgery be done to help with this pain? Also, I'm only 5' tall, and have large heavy breasts, would a reduction do anything to lessen the pain and pressure on my shoulder area?
