Suggest Treatment For Pain Due To Vaginal Infection

i have been given a pessary by my doctor for my vaginal infection...i applied it but it has got stuck and now its very painful, its not coming out or going in. I m not sure if this is normal...can you please give me some advice. The pain is very bad. I can t even move properly.
