Hello Sir,
I am a student. I am living in MH, India.
I want to ask you a question about your expectations about the future position of my grandfather who is admit in the MICU. I understand you cannot give an exact answer, as there is no information provided to you. However, kindly try to understand me, and try answering it.
My grandfather is a patient of pararises from 6-7 years back. He was admitted in the hospital from May 10. From May 20, he shifted to the MICU, as his blood was fled from his mouth. However, we donâ??t know why, but the blood was not looking normal, and it coloured to black.
He was serious at that time. He was putted on the ventilator. After few days, when the doctor came to the survey at morning, realised that he was normal. He was able to communicate in a very slow voice and was identifying all of us. His heartâ??s beeps were also normal that time. Thatâ??s why, she moved him to the General Ward.
On the evening that day, I realised that he was going into a deep sleep. He was not normal, and was not communicating with us, and was constantly sleeping. That time, the doctor connected the Heartâ??s Beep Counting Machine, and instructed me to look at that and inform when his position downs. I donâ??t sleep that night; and was realised that his heartâ??s beep counting was decreasing. I informed the doctor, and they immediately, shifted him to the MICU again. This is the case before 5 days from now.
Yet, his position is becoming down, somewhat improved and again to down. Yet, for total 3 times, his ventilator was removed and putted, after the break of some days, considering his situation. We donâ??t understand what is going on. Before 2 days, some blood gets fled from his toilet, and therefore, he was supplied 3 bottles of the blood from the hospitalâ??s blood bank.
From yesterday, the doctor has gone for holidays for the two days: today & tomorrow. He will return on Friday in this week. When asked to the Assistant Doctor, he talked that the patientâ??s condition is currently critical. He is not on ventilator just now; but may require putting on, if unfortunately, his condition gets down. His heart rate was low yesterday; but currently the heart rate is as like normal patients. The members in the home have decided not to keep him on ventilator, as they think, he will no longer recover. I donâ??t think so. My personal opinion is that as he is 80 years old suffered from the Pararises in the past, and is also facing pains from the fracture in the back from the 3 months when he was fall down.
I know what pains he is suffering now, and honestly, not thinking to get him in the same position.
Upon your experience, imaginary, can you please tell whether he will come back to a normal stage? I donâ??t expect that you give me exact answer, but kindly think upon your experience, expertise in the field.
Thank you so much sir. Sorry for my bad English & non sufficient information.
