Suggest Treatment For Pain In Fingernail

Hi, my wife (around 28 years) is having pains in her fingernail. When it touches unexpectedly to any object, the pain is severe. She is getting the pain after using water also. There is no swelling or fever or no color to the nails. She is getting this pain from past 1 month. We have used many pain relievers but no use.
