Suggest Treatment For Pain In Leg Which Is Being Relieved By Advil

Yes. About 6 years ago I fell and broke my leg. It was a bad break and repaired by an ortho doctor with a titanium pin inserted I the leg, from the top of the ankle to just below the knee. I took good care of it and it was fine for a few years Then, a couple of years ago it started to occasionally ache, right in the area of the break where it seems to have grown some bone around the brake (which I can feel through the skin.) Recently it started aching and now aches very often which can only be relieved with Advil. About 6 over the counter stuff seems to keep the pain in control. My question.....Is this normal for a brake? Thanks!
