Suggest Treatment For Pain In Right Lower Extremity

I have been experiencing pain in my Right lower extremity for over a year now. It started along my lateral R thigh - I though it was muscle related and ignored it. (I am an RN). Then the pain radiated to my posterior R knee - making such activities as walking up steps and getting up from a chair painful. I had X-ray and MRI. I was told I had a small baker's cyst and arthritis. Now that pain has subsided and it has moved to my R shin. I have also developed little "cysts" along the tibia (tibia, fibia, whichever one it is!). I also feel an indentation to that area. I have been told I have varicose veins. I had a venous insufficiency study and nothing was found. The pain is much worse when I lay down. I have not been able to sleep for months now. This is so frustrating. I do not know where else to turn. I am going to another primary doctor and am going to demand an x-ray and MRI to my RLE, from the knee down. what do you think?
